I like this Posie Graeme-Evans quote about writing from last Saturday’s The Age newspaper:
‘I sit by myself and hear voices in my head . They come out the ends of my fingers whether I want them to or not’.
I have one voice in my head which is impatiently yelling, ‘get back to the memoir’. Once I do I’m certain I’ll hear many voices from my past about growing up in Fitzroy, a suburb of Melbourne, Australia in the 1950s and 1960s.
I’m also planning to have a website up and running soon about my progress in writing my memoir.
Fingers crossed I’ll be working on the narrative in about one week’s time.
