Sue and I saw Arj Barker perform at the Melbourne Comedy festival a few days ago.
As we walked to the venue I took a few photographs along the way and the result is this 3 min 36 sec flash presentation A Night On The Town.
If you know Melbourne (Australia); we walked from our parked car (in a secret location) along Exhibition Street then turned right into Little Bourke Steet, China Town. Then turned left into Russell Street and then right into Bourke Street. The next left into Swanston Street and on towards the comedy venue, the Melbourne Town Hall.
I snapped away at anything that took my interest; people, hotel, streets, shops, horses and carriages, signs, cars.
It’s fun putting together these presentations. I take the photographs and Sue crops the photos, selects the music and puts together the final production.
We have produced two flash presentations commercially.
A twenty-two minute flash presentation at a conference we facilitated. I took the photos and interviewed participants and Sue produced the presentation. The clients used it to tell their story at their world conference held in Europe.
The other one we produced was five-minutes long and was for a local council on the theme of ‘Youth’.
However, money is not the motivating factor in producing flash presentations (although we won’t knock back any offers :) )
It’s the passion and challenge of creating and telling a story that is our motivation.
And without that passion I may as well stay in bed.
